Dear FBI Phoenix Citizens' Academy Alumni Association:
Greetings from the new Special Agent in Charge Nathan Gray. If you are having a
sense of déjà vu, well so am I. I was an Assistant Special Agent in
Charge here in Phoenix from 2002 to 2004. After that, I was named a Special Assistant
to Deputy Director John Pistole. In 2006, I was named Special Agent in Charge of
the Charlotte Division. After the retirement of SAC John Lewis, I was delighted
to be named SAC Phoenix.
My wife Carol and I love the Phoenix Division and the State of Arizona. Carol and
I are looking forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones. I am an avid
golfer and expect to be hitting the links with some of you at our annual golf tournament
to benefit the children of fallen FBI agents.
You will find me to be a strong supporter of the Citizens Academy in concept and
practice. I see the value in educating the public on the FBI mission, and then going
forward with Citizens' Academy Alumni as we enjoy the mutual benefits of working
together to improve our community.
I know I will see you at upcoming Citizens Academy continuing education programs,
range days and more. Thanks for being a part of this enduring and valuable program.
SAC
Nate Gray
